The Po-2P, also known as the Po-2M, was a light amphibious biplane designed in 1944 by Nikolai Polikarpov. The aircraft was powered by a 127 hp M-11D engine driving a VISh-327 propeller with a diameter of 2,5 meters.
The aircraft could carry up to four 2,5 kg bombs. Its maiden flight took place on July 7, 1944. The prototype received a positive evaluation from the state commission and was subsequently produced in a limited series.
