This variant was reportedly designed as a torpedo bomber capable of delivering 533 mm torpedoes from low altitude. It was allegedly intended for service with the Soviet Navy, primarily with the Black Sea Fleet. However, reliable information on this version is extremely limited, and it appears only in isolated sources. It is possible that the Il-2T never existed as a separate serial production variant.
