Mi-171 Sh helicopter (Mi-8 AMTSh) is multifunctional helicopter, which is capable for performing a wide range of combat tasks. 

Main purpose of presented helicopter is performance of CSAR-mission at any time of day and night. 

The helicopter is equipped with complex of survival means, object seeking, detection and recognition systems and means of protection from attack. For performing combat tasks the helicopter can be fitted with guided an unguided missile complexes.

Special set of CSAR – equipment of helicopter:
- SLG-300 hoist with a capacity of 300 kg

- “Breeze Eastern” HS-29900 hoist with a capacity of 270 kg
- GOES-321M1 FLIR-system
- KNEI-171 integrated navigation and electronic indication system
- TSL-1600 searchlight
- SAR-DF 517 direction finder
- PA700 public address system
- 5 stretchers for seriously injured
- Special set of medical equipment for first aid
- PALLQB0440 dust protection device
- Crew cabin increased blisters
- Protection systems (including UV-26-06 chaff dispenser)
- Extra right sliding door
- Prima-KV radio set (instead of Yadro-1G1)
