Mi-17V-5 is a modification of the Mi-8 helicopter. This version provides the capability of transporting up to 36 soldiers, with a maximum take off weight of 13.000 kg up to 750 km. Inside the cabin it can carry 4 tons of payload or, optionally, 4.5 tons on an external hook.

The Mi-17V-5 is equipped with the latest electronic systems and can easily navigate and operate at high altitudes and extreme temperatures, which establishes it as one of the best helicopters worldwide in its category. Mi-8/17 has been exported to over 80 countries.
