At the KADEX-2018 Exhibition in Kazakhstan, presented a version of the Il-114MP (Maritime patrol aircraft / Anti-submarine aircraft) was developed which was developed based on the Il-114-300.

It is a maritime patrol aircraft with a take-off weight of up to 26000 kg, with a crew of six (6) people (of which 4 are system operators).

The Il-114MP carries a Radar MMS “Kasatka-S" type active electronically scanned array (AESA), with a maximum monitoring radius of 120 km. The fixed armament of the aircraft is the 23 mm Gsh-2-23 cannon, which is mounted on the right side of the spindle (front of the snout) while the external armament is capable of carrying X-35E (Kh-35E) missiles.

For the destruction of submarines the aircraft carries a combination of radar detection and fire control systems.

At the tail end of the aircraft is the MAD - Magnetic Anomaly Detector. The aircraft has the capability of carrying complete anti-submarine torpedoes, airborne torpedoes, bottom bombs, mines and other weapons.

The projectile is intended for attacks/disasters of modern submarines, including nuclear submarines, which move at speeds of up to 40 knots at depths of up to 800 m (and when they are on a percussion surface). It also can strike against surface ships when they float at depths of 60-150 m, sea state up to 6 Beaufort.

APR-3M Missile Target Attack Profile "Orel"

In gravitational immersion with the propulsion system deactivated, in a spiral track, the APR-3M projectile scans the space in search of a target. After the target head is detected and trapped, the engine is activated.

 Designed to record and transmit onboard aircraft data on the vertical distribution of the speed of sound propagation in seawater, used in the search for submarines at a depth of 1 m to 400 m.
