Abbreviation FYROM - the Former Yugoslav Republic of Makedonia

A light training aircraft (target designation aircraft) with a piston engine, developed by the Yugoslav company UTVA, based on the military modification UTVA-66 (V), together with the company Parva Petoletka-Trstenik, the Vazduhoplovno Technicki Institut and the Faculty of Mechanics of the University of Belgrade. The first flight of the prototype took place in May 1976.

The aircraft was built from 1977 to 1989, 200 units were built, 136 of which are of the UTVA-75A21 type.

To plane provides for the transportation of light weapons. In 1981, the only prototype of the UTVA-78 four-seat trainer was built, based on the UTVA-75.
