The Bell-412EP developed by the American company Bell Helicopter Textron. It is essentially a continuation of the successful versions of the Bell-412 series. It has a new Pratt&Whitney Canada PT6T-3D Twin PAC engine, with a power of 1.342 kW (1.799 h.p.) The main rotor also been improved. The production was launched in 1996.

The Bell-412EP pictured belongs to the Police Air Force and was acquired on 22 November 2000. It is also used to transport special teams to counter-terrorist operations.
