The system was developed by the Greek company HAI S.A. (Hellenic Aerospace Industry S.A.). The system provides the neutralization of swarms of UAVs of category 1 and class 2 and can even detect roving munitions.
Anti-drone system designed for the detection, identification, and neutralization of Class 1 and Class 2 drone swarms. IPERION integrates a passive three-dimensional (3D) detection and tracking capability with advanced electronic countermeasure (ECM) technologies, ensuring full 360-degree hemispherical coverage – individually, in combination, or simultaneously – without the need for any mechanical or moving parts, IPERION supports both static and mobile configurations, enabling flexible deployment across a wide range of operational environments.

To detect and locate enemy UAVs, the system creates an electronic "Dome" with a radius of 5 km (Ø 10 km), within which it carries out its interference on the UAVs and their operators.
The system can be easily deployed and installed in mobile and stationary units.
The main functions of the “Iperion” system are:
A. ESM/ELINT/SIGINT and ECM Jamming. Barrage jamming in the range 0,3- 6 GHZ
B. Detection and identification drones/UAVs. Range more than 10 km.
C. Jamming all the available GPS network, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou.
D. Intelligent jammer system that can neutralize swarms of drones in all directions.
