Modifications:
AIM-120A: Original missile version, production ended in 1994.
AIM-120B: Upgraded version with the ability to reprogram the control system via wired connection, directly in the shipping container.
AIM-120C: Special modification of the missile developed to be carried by an F-22 fighter. It has folding fins,  with the possibility of transport to in the internal weapons compartment.
