Mirage 2000-5 is a multipurpose fighter-bomber developed by the French company Dassault.
On May 3, 2007, the Greek Air Force receives the first upgraded Mirage 2000-5 Mk2 aircraft. And also two more two-seater planes on May 30 of the same month, with numbers 508 and 509.
All modified Mk2 aircraft are part of the 331st Squadron as well as the single-seat modified aircraft from the Greek Aircraft Repair Plant (HAE).
Equipment: RDY-2 Multifunction pulse-doppler radar with a slotted antenna array.
The basic operational functions provided are:
-air-to-air search (all altitude, all sectors, critical target selection and attack of several targets) and interception
-low-level strike (mapping, terrain-avoidance, blind let-down)
-air-to-ground attack
-sea surface search and attack

| Performance: Type: X-band (9 to 12,5GHz) multifunction fire-control radar. Detection range 130 km, number of detected and tracked targets 24 and track 8 of 24 detected, and engage the 4 tracked, antenna diameter 0,65 m. |
