In numbers Through the lens Video
During the airshow MAKS-2011,, the Russian medium-range unmanned aerial vehicle was presented for the first time in public, which evolved from the Luch. The development and funding of the program were held by the company.
Two prototypes were built with the second one equipped with an electro-sight system GOES-630 (optronic systems). Little is known about this system, which was developed by the"URAL OPTICAL & MECHANICAL PLANT". Probably the system includes TV andthermal imaging camera.

| The UAV "Luch" is designed to fly reconnaissance missions and broadcastin real time at a distance of 250 km and using the transmitter up to 350 km.To increase the autonomy of the UAV the wingspan was increased along with the possibility to install additional fuel tanks, giving it a flight time of 30 hours. |
Τhe UAV was based on the Sigma-5. It has a four-stroke gasoline engine with a propellerthrust device type Rotax-914 UL (F) DCDI supercharged. The landing gear is retractable (three-point). For easy transportation and storage, the wing folds. The entire procedure is performedmanually by one person in two minutes.

Although not yet determined, we can assume that the whole complex will consist of 4vehicles: fuel tank, technical maintenance, transport and vehicle control (which will probablyconsist of two vehicles). The aerial vehicles are constructed of materials with special coatingsto reduce the footprint. The construction of the UAV has made extensive use of reinforcedcomposite materials throughout the spindle (similar Israeli system Seareher Mk II). The useful life of aerial vehicles is about 20 years. The UAV was developed for reconnaissance missions and electronic intelligence missions.
According to statements made by representatives of the company, the UAV is able to perform air strikes and can carry guided weapons externally or internally. The payload is 180 kg. The aerial vehicle can take-off from rough runways. Tests are underway.
