Upgraded version based on the Ka-31. The power plant of the helicopter consists of two Klimov TV3-117VMAR turboshaft engines, 2.200 h.p. each.
Radar type E-801E (M) “OKO” - it provides detction of aerial targets (detection range aguinst a fighter type target up to 100-150 km, and a sea surface target – within radio horizon), and surface targets and automatic reporting to ground and shiphorne control posts or air defense systems. Simultaneously tracket targets 40.
The airborne radar type E-81E (M), operates at the centimeter frequency, the antenna is rotatable with a weight of 200 kg, a length of 5.75 m and an area of 6 m2. The complete rotation of the antenna is done in 10 sec.
