To understand the problem of air masses being propelled under the wing on a flat surface, in 1964 they built a prototype craft, the SM-2P7.
At 1/4 of the wing chord and approximately in the middle of the wing, there was a series of pipes (nozzles) that abducted air masses when the craft developed high speeds.
