In numbers Through the lens Video
Airborne Early Warning (AEW) aircraft, electronic countermeasures, with two coaxial rotors propfan, turboprop engines of the Progress D-27 type with a power of 14.000 hp each. Designed by OKB them. Yakovlev specifically for carrier-based aviation.
A semi-dimensional constructive-technological mock-up of the aircraft and a mock-up of the Yak-44 (scale 1:5) model for radio engineering research were built. Due to the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 90s and the lack of funding, all work on the project was closed!
