Αlso known as: 3M-T, "3M, Transport", VM-T "Atlant"

A jet heavy transport aircraft with a carrying capacity of 32,000 kg, developed on the basis of the M-4 strategic bomber.

Basically, the aircraft is designed to transport large-sized elements of space systems, such as the Energia or Buran aerospace aircraft and more.

The first flight of the modified aircraft took place on April 29, 1981. Only three aircraft were built, all aircraft remained in service until the 90s.
