A single-seat supersonic multipurpose fighter, a modification of the MiG-29M light front-line fighter (number 156) and is a flying laboratory for testing RD-33 engines with an all-angle thrust vector deviation - the so-called KLIVT system, developed by the St. V.Ya. Klimov.
