MiG-29KVP (MiG-29 #918) - the aircraft was designed specifically for practicing springboard takeoff and and arrested recovery ground-based "Nitka" as part of the program for the creation of the MiG-29K shipborne fighter, based on the 7th flight prototype of the MiG-29 type 9-12.

The first flight of the prototype took place on August 21, 1982, test pilot A.G. Fastovets took off from the T-1 ground springboard.
