A single-seat, twin-engine supersonic interceptor-bomber with a "Sablya" side-scan radar, based on the MiG-25RB aircraft. There on the no photographic equipment on the plane was not installed.
Aircraft MiG-25RBS were mass-produced in 1973-1977. Since 1972 The MiG-25RBS entered service in 1972.
Externally, the aircraft differed from its predecessors by large side radio-transparent panels on the forward fuselage.
