Modification of the Be-12, with a more advanced search and targets system "Narciss-12", which consists of the following systems:

  • airborne, receiving, automatic radio device SPARU-55 with PP-1

  • multifunctional, ultra-short-wave receiver (MULU) "Nara"

  • sighting and targets device "Narciss-12" with a target analyzer

  • radar station "Iniciativa-2BN"

  • on-board equipment necessary to ensure the operability of the PPS, passive - non-directional buoys RGB-NM and RGB-NM-1

  • aviation search magnetometer APM-73S

  • data transmission equipment APD PK-025

The first flight of the Be-12N was made in 1969.
