NATO reporting name: Clank
Twin-engine, turboprop aircraft for air surveillance and aerial photography, developed on the basis of the An-24.
The power plant consists of two Progress AI-24VT turboprops engines with a power of 2817 hp each (take-off power) as well one additional TRD MNPK Soyuz (Tumansky) RU-19A-300, with a thrust of 7.85 kN (800 kgf). The prototype first flew in 1967.
The An-30 was equipped with special equipment for automatic and semi-automatic aerial photography, commissioned by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (Soviet Union) or the Air Force.
The equipment included:

AFA-54/50 for perspective shooting equipment was installed on both sides of the aircraft.
