The 23 mm ZU-23-2 Twin Anti-Aircraft Cannon is a powerful mean of combat against airborne targets within the distance of 2.500 m and height of 1.500 m.
Anti-aircraft installation ZU-23 caliber 23-mm, index GRAU 2A13, was operated in many countries of the world. It is manufactured under license from Bulgaria, Poland, Egypt and China.
In 2023, at the DEFEA exhibition, the Polish company AREX WB Group with Prexer presented an improved upgraded version of the ZU-23-2 based on the ZU-23 with the DJ-25 system (jammer).
The DJ-25 system is installed on the ZU-23 mainly to suppress and disable enemy communication and guidance systems and for self-defense of an anti-aircraft installation, as well as a weapon against drones (UAVs).

Upgrade Kit for 23mm Anti-Aircraft Twin-Barreled Autocannon ZU-23-2. Electromechanical Equipment ARM-28.
Designed to upgrade the licensed anti-aircraft twin-barrelled autocannon ZU-23-2. Digitally controlled electric drive (with emergency manual drive) allow to achieve both precise guidance and high-speed gun movement. Guidance can be carried out by operator using a a joystick or automatically rom the external fire control system (FCS). Electromechanical Equipment ARM-28 cooperates with modern optoelectronic sights that allow shooting with both traditional ammunition (OFZ, OFZT) and modern sub-calibre ammunition APDS-T.
Scope of modernization - installation of electric drives in azimuth and elevation with emergency mode - installation of the operator panel and manipulator - installation of sensors for rotation speed measurement - replacement of sight 2C27 for the electronic sight that enables shooting using ammunition type: OFZ, OFZT, APDS-T.
- installation of Electrical Control Unit - installation of autonomous power supply unit - installation of voice communication - cannon modes: manual, semi-automatic and automatic.
