The Exocet has been manufactured in a number of versions, including:
MM38 (surface-launched) - 1975
AM38 (helicopter-launched - tested only) - 1975
AM39 (air-launched) - 1979
SM39 (submarine-launched) - 1979
MM40 (surface-launched)

The Exocet anti-ship missile (all modifications) is in service with more than 18 countries around the world.

1. After the launch, the rocket rises to a height of 30-75 m, a range flight of approximately 4 km 2. Later follows a course for 20 km at a height of 10-15 m 3. At a distance of 12 and 15 km from the calculated target site, the missile is reduced to 3-7 m, the seeker is turned on.
