Essentially this is the third missile of the series "Super". Super 530D (D-Doppler) was developed with the primary purpose of engaging and destroying targets flying low. Work onthis version began in 1979. The first tests of the missile took place in 1984. Rockets R530, Super 530F and Super 530D have been exported to Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Gabon, India, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Pakistan, South Africa, Switzerland, Venezuela and Zaire.
