Summary of thesis:
Theme: “Construction and Testing of a small aircraft based on Photovoltaic Energy Cells - Business Utilization in Air Surveillance – Recognition missions.”

This small electric glider is a modified SIG Rizer RC-52. The power is provided by an electric engine, fueled by photovoltaic cells, placed on the wing.

It can carry a wireless camera under the fuselage which can transmit video up to 150 m distance.

It can be used for surveillance (day and night), search and recognition, early fire detection and other such applications.

Its first presentation took place on Tuesday 15, June 2010. The maximum take off weight is 1.35 kg and the wingspan is 2.00 m.
