The stand-off loitering munition AIHMI AHM-1X was developed by the Greek company SAS Technology within the framework of designing advanced unmanned aerial systems. The system is based on a specialized transport and launch platform, designated AHX-1X, which has been configured to carry Hydra 70-type munitions.

Hydra 70: The Hydra 70 missile has a length of 1.06 m, a diameter of 70 mm, a tail span of 186 mm, and a launch weight of 6.20 kg. It is equipped with a standard warhead weighing 4.50 kg. The Hydra 70 is capable of carrying alternative warheads, depending on the specific mission requirements.
The aerodynamic configuration of the platform includes folding wings, aimed at optimizing flight performance and increasing operational range. Propulsion is provided by an electric engine with a pusher-type propeller, installed at the rear of the fuselage.

The system can be guided either via remote control using an FPV camera or through autonomous navigation based on pre-defined GPS coordinates, offering flexibility depending on the operational scenario.

To achieve extended range, the AHM-1X can be transported and deployed by the SRS-1A Sarisa and SRS-2A Sarisa vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) octocopters, as well as by the TALOS II fixed-wing UAVs, all developed by SAS Technology. Additionally, following appropriate technical modifications, the system can be integrated into military helicopters and low-speed aircraft.
