Mission: performing patrol and special operations, border patrols and tackling illegal immigration, rescue and search and other tasks.

The first two Bo-105CBS Super Five helicopters entered service with the Greek police in 1995, which were part of the Blue Thunder special unit, now subordinate to the Greek Police Service (YEMEA - Hellenic Police Aircraft Service). The helicopters are equipped with modern system FLIR transmission and reception systems, providing round-the-clock visibility, detection and recognition of objects.
 

 

Bo-105CBS Super Five
Today, three Bo-105CBS helicopters are active in the force of Greek Police (EL.AS.). The helicopter is equipped with a BSS400 type thermal imaging system, the maximum weight of the system is 40 kg, with the ability to rotate 360ο in azimuth and + 15o / -85o vertically. Greek Bo-105CBS Super Five are equipped with systems like:

- BBS400 FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared)
- weather radar and Global Positioning System (GPS)
- real-time data transmission
- controlled searchlight
- external loudspeaker device for giving voice commands and alerting the population
- for patrol and rescue operations over the sea, the helicopter is equipped with inflatable floats for emergency landing of the helicopter.
