The Hellenic Army General Staff has developed two unmanned air surveillance systems a micro helicopter "Heraclitus" and a small aircraft.
The small unmanned helicopter developed in 472 TEPP (Information Science Surveillance Battalion) in cooperation with the Hellenic Army General Staff.
The “Heraclitus” Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is equipped with two cameras a thermal and day camera.

“Heraclitus” - is equipped with a thermal camera feature human detections to 300 m, and vehicle at 900 m, with possibility 12x optical zoom and 4x digital in good daylight conditions. Moreover it provides data transmission of data in real time, smoke detection and radiochemical contamination well as the ability for dropping material Medical.
