Entered service with the Air Force in 2000 (HAF)

It's a medium range anti-aircraft system, for the protection from A/C, ballistic missiles, troops and the shielding of vital installations.

The long-range SAM system S-300PMU-1 is a further evolution of long-range SAM system S-300 PM with the export code name S-300PMU-1. The designing of the system began in 1985 and in 1993 it joined the service.

Weght: 1.800 until 1.900 kg. Warhead type: Fragmentation, 145 kg. Performance: Maximum speed until 7.560 km/h. Maximum range 150 km. Target g-load 25 g. "Specified service life" missile pod, years 10. Guidance system: Through a combination of the missile.
