Type: Leopard 1A5 Fire-Fighting tank.
Modified three tanks to the level of fire trucks: Olympus, Saint David and Deucalion.
The fire-fighting tank was developed on the chassis of the German-made Leopard 1A5 tank in 2014 by specialists from the 304th Base Factory (304 ΠΕΒ). In total, three tanks were converted to the level of firefighters (all tanks were named after Olympus, Saint David and Deucalion).
Purpose: the fire truck is designed to extinguish fires of various classes at the tank range.
In the process of re-equipment, the tank turret is removed and a water tank (cistern) with a total capacity of 12.5 tons is installed. To extinguish the fire, a stationary water cannon was installed on the vehicles with a water supply capacity of 1.600 liters per minute, firing at a distance of up to 40 meters.
