The EOS mini UAV was developed by Threod Systems (Estonia) as a civilian version. 
Main mission is aerial photography, research, rescue, forest surveillance, geological identification and site mapping.

The EOS mini UAV has capabilities:

- easy and fast assembly and disassembly in 15 minutes
- easy to operate from a portable Tablet and user-friendly software
- real time image transfer (video) to ground station or operational center
- video transfer (video) over the internet (3G-4G network)
- transfer image (video) to handheld tablet to ground groups
- image transfer (video) by satellite
- easy and quick take-off by hand
- parachute landing (automatic landing on predefined coordinates)

Threod Systems. Shark Gimbal. Features: Moving target indication, target tracking and locking, georeferenced imagery 360o continuous pan / +10o to 100o tilt. EO sensor: 30x zoom / 2xdigital and 720p HD video. IR sensor: 35mm lens and 8x digital zoom. Optional: Laser rangefinder and IR pointer / illuminator.

The unmanned aircraft, type EOS mini UAV System, was acquired by the fire brigade through an NSRF program ("digital fire alert and response service") for the Fire Brigade's account.

The Fire Brigade has an unmanned EOS mini System aircraft.
