HAT LS2 was developed by HAT - (Hellenic Aeronautical Technologies), a company which was established by Anastasios Makrikostas, an aeronautical engineer. This small Greek firm specializes in manufacturing parts for aircrafts made of composite materials.

HAT LS2 Light aircraft.

 

It's a single-engine, low-wing, light airplane with a non-retractable landing system. It is equipped with a 64 horsepower engine by Volkswagen. The prototype flew on May 23rd, 1997 for the first time and received its flight certificate on September the 2nd, 1999.
