The Casta-2E2 radar is designed to control the airspace and determine the range, azimuth, flight level and track characteristics of air objects: aircraft, helicopters, remotely-piloted flying vehicles and cruise missiles, including those flying at low and extremely low altitudes, against the background of intensive clutters from an underlying surface, ground objects and hydrome-teorological formations.

Altitude target acquisition radar. | Mobile solid-state automated low. |
The radar is capable of detecting Stealth-tecnology air targets and moving objects at sea.
The radar comprises hardware truck, antenna truck and power unit mounted on three KamAZ- 4310 trucks of increased cross-country capability. The radar features a remote operator post deployed at a maximum distance of 300 meters from it The antenna can be mounted on a light transportable mast of 50 meters high.
The Casta-2E2 is the advanced automated detection radar that boasts high small target detection zones (including slow flying targets). It features excellent jamming immunity, reliability and high degree of automation. It is safe, comfortable and easy-to-operate. The low-cost radar also features low maintenance expences.
RADAR CASTA-2E2 can be used in various information systems of military and civil assignment: air defense, coastal defense and boundary control, air traffic control and air space control in aerodrome zones.
