PURPOSE 
This ekranoplan craft serves as a private high-speed means of trans­port, marine flying machine for pleasure trips and sports. 

OPERATION CONDITIONS
The ekranoplan craft is operated on wafer reservoirs, lakes and rivers all year round. The ekranoplan craft takes off and lands on water and snow. 
The ekranoplan craft moves on and off water by its own, sliding on plating (concrete, wooden and metallic slabs etc.). 

MAIN POWER PLANT
Two "Voyager 300" piston engines, 2x200 hp (firm "Tebedyne Continental Motors") operate fixed pitch air propellers via cardan shafts. 

RADIO NAVIGATION AIDS 
The ekranoplan craft boasts state-of-the-art radio, radio navigation and navigation aids, which meet the Safety Rules of Flights Over the Sea in accordance with requirements of the IMO/ICAO for ekranoplan craft.

The ekranoplan craft is made of aluminum-magnesium alloys and composite materials on the basis of glass-reinforced and carbon plastics.

The ekranoplan craft "Strizh-M" has an aerodynamic configuration similar to "Strizh", which ensures its natural stability in ground-effect flights, enables it to overcome obstacles in vertical planes (with short time flights) and reveals improved seaworthiness compared to flying boats of the same weight.
