The Mi-26 served as a base for deriving the Mi-26T civilian transport (1995).
The Mi-26Tis designed for transporting cargo weighing up to 20 tons, constructing-and-mounting operations, extinguishing and localizing fires, for rendering medical aid, supply and distribution of fuel to consumers.
