Mission: Interceptor of airborne assets of offence. Chief designers: E.A. Ivanov, N.P. Polenov
Delivered by Novosibirsk aircraft plant in 1966-1971. In service with Soviet Air Defence Aviation in 1967-1993.
Exhibited is a prototype (designated in Design Bureau as T58L) involved in the test program to develop take-off and landing techniques for the aircraft with ski landing gear operated on soft airfields.
Aircraft versions: Su-15T, Su-15TM, Su-15U.
