Be-12PS search and rescue amphibious aircraft with two Progress AI-20D turboprop engine with a power of 5.180 hp. Developed on the basis of anti-submarine Be-12. The first flight took place in 1969. The amphibious aircraft passed state tests in 1969 and in 1971 was put into production in a small series, all aircraft were supplied by the Taganrog aircraft plant.
