Turboprop anti-submarine amphibious aircraft, developed by the Beriev Design Bureau in the 1960s.
Amphibious aircraft tricycle landing gear with tail wheel (retractable in flight). The power plant consists of two TVD type AI-20D (2-4 series) with a capacity of 5.180 hp each. with four-bladed feathered variable-pitch propellers AV-68D with a diameter of 5 m. The first flight took place on October 18, 1960. Serial production of the amphibious aircraft began in 1960 and continued until 1973. A total of 143 units were produced.
