Few people know that, along with the development of Mi-28 Havok, a second attack helicopter's development, based on Mi- 24, started. It's a deeply modernized version, which had no soldier cabin and with the power-plant placed in special engine nacelle. The helicopter took the code name "Tungus" (Tungus: native people in the Eastern Siberia, Mongolia and North Eastern China).
