NATO reporting name: AA-9 Amos
Αlso known as: Izdeliye 410, K-33

It was developed exclusively for the MiG-31 interceptor aircraft. Missile it was designed primarily to intercept aircraft and helicopters, "cruise" missiles flying at high speeds as well as low-speed targets flying over land and sea. Targets include electronic warfare aircraft and AWACS. The missile can perform engagements beyond 100 km, while it is highly resistant to enemy countermeasures.
