The UCAV S-70 Okhotnik takeoff maiden flight on August 3, 2019. It took off for the first time for a +20 minute flight at 12.20 Moscow time. UCAV reached 600 meters, after a few laps around the airport made a successful landing.

UCAV S-70 “Okhotnik-B” developed by Sukhoi Design Bureu, and according to the information the S-70 has a length of about 15,00 m and a wing span of 19,4 m. The maximum take-off weight is estimated at 20.000 with 22.000 kg (according to unofficial sources 28.000-30.000 kg).

At least in the initial phase the UCAV is equipped with an Al-31F engine (izdeliye 117, AL-41F-1) some modernized version of the engine, with a maximum thrust of 7.770 kgf (using afterburner 12.500 kgf), which ends in a classic type nozzle (s.s. probably directed thrust, according to the statements of the company's representatives, the engine will be replaced with a new generation?). For the transport of armaments there are two storage spaces for the transport of modern weapons of the Russian arsenal, including Kh-35U and Kh-59MK2 missiles, as well as 500 kg guided air bombs, total weight of about 2.000 kg.
